If you are selling a home in "original" condition, you may be surprised to learn that the majority of buyers cannot visualize what the house will look like remodeled. My solution -- I take them to my house afterwards to show them how they can open up the kitchen and how improvements will transform the house. I can also connect them with contractors for demo, paint, tile, plumbing, etc.
